Summit Fitness arrived in Sierra Vista, Arizona in December 2005, opening in a small 3,000 sq ft temporary location. We moved October 16, 2006 to a 21,000 sq ft full-service fitness center in the Seventh St Marketplace, behind Pizza Hut Bistro. Summit Fitness is not a stereotypical facility that requires you to "look good" before you join. Instead, we respect our clients at all levels of fitness.

December 5, 2010 we opened Summit Fitness Express, a 6,000 sq ft mini gym, on Hwy 92 near the Sierra Vista Mall. Memberships are available that include both gyms, or Summit Express only at a lower price.

In April 2011 Summit Fitness was awarded the Small Business of the Year award by the Sierra Vista Chamber of Commerce. That is a tribute to a talented and dedicated staff and great members spreading the message.

Summit Fitness members receive a discount on all tanning package. The same 3 levels of tanning are available at both gym locations, and a tanning package purchased at one is also good at the other location.
